Bull horns, tents, logs and fabric, all subtly feminine, make up the woodsy, earthy haven of the multi-media installation "27-55, Life Journeys: A Visual Perspective from 3 Women." On exhibit at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center throughout January, the show is a collaborative effort of not only three artists, ranging in age from their 20s to 50s, but the community.

But, if you want to, you can drop by Baltimore Coffee and Tea and pick up a pound or two of Jamaica Blue Mountain, certified by the Wallenford Estate as indeed the rarest coffee in the world. They must take delivery of it via armored car.

Photographer can 'become a painter' via technological boost

Marisa Ruane studied art, worked in galleries and associated with artists throughout her life -- in Long Island, N.Y.; western Massachusetts; Charles Town, W.Va.; and, more recently, Frederick. But it wasn't until she began using digital imaging with her 35mm film that she started taking her own work more seriously.
